Task:
In connection with Aalborg BK's participation in the Champions League, the football club and the municipality wanted to mark the event by decorating the city.

The Cimbrer Taurus (statue) on Vesterbro was colored in the red/white Aalborg BK colors, and a number of oversized Champions League footballs were placed at strategic locations in the city.

Only 5 working days before Aalborg BK's first home match of the tournament (Aalborg - Man Utd.), Luftfabrikken were contacted in order to deliver a 4-meter high inflatable version of the star covered Champions League logo football.

Making:
In collaboration with advertising agency Fedder + Okkels and Aalborg Municipality, we managed the task in only 5 working days.

Inflatable advertising is an ideal way to attract attention and works very well as an eye catcher, the easy operation (inflation and deflation) of inflatable advertising makes them ideal for outdoor sports promotion. This giant inflatable ball will be transported around the city and set in several different locations.

The built-in fans are more user-friendly than the remotely located blowers, which people might stumble over - everything is integrated directly into the inflatable advertising objects.

The beautiful football was set up in John F. Kennedy's place in Aalborg’s city center and was later transported to the area around Aalborg Stadium where the match was played.
