| | Description of the mascot: Lepus Park is the name of an activity park in Outrup near Varde, Denmark, open from summer 2010. The name LEPUS in danish are initials put together from the words Play, Energy, Pulse, Entertainment, Togetherness. Also, LEPUS is the Latin word for hare, and therefore the hare is used as the logo and mascot for the activity park.
Bamsefabrikken was contacted by the people behind Lepus Park, who wanted a beautiful and professionally made mascot costume for their hare. Bamsefabrikken has developed this cheeky rabbit mascot costume in collaboration with the people behind Lepus Park, based on a series of illustrations of the hare, who naturally is called Lepus.
You can meet Lepus the Hare in the park, which includes activities such as adventure football, Krolf (a mixture between croquet and golf), at treasure hunts in the sandbox. Or maybe Lepus mascot appears suddenly inside the corn maze.
Bamsefabrikkens mascot costumes are always equipped with a built-in ventilation system in the head, that makes it pleasant for the person performing in the costume, especially since Lepus Park is open throughout the summer season. |
